Found in second-hand shops, Grannie's kitchen drawers and in some craft stores, the doily comes in many sizes, patterns and shades of white and cream. Using this iconic and ever-popular item and inspired by a white winter, we have created three hand-stitched items perfect for any home.

Table Runner
Collate together doilies in various sizes and colour tones. Lay out over table to ensure that you have enough for your purpose. The aim is to create a textured and layered runner for your table. Once you have your doilies in position use a simple hand stitch to hold them together in the desired layout. Once held together, place over table and finish with a display of your favourite ceramics or items.
